DEDICATION

I dedicate this work, first, to my late wife, Anwara Agwo (nee Obio) and our five children: Ogbonnia Agwo, Osondu Otu Agwo, Orieotu Agwo, Abani Agwo and Uchennia Egele Agwo, who should have a first hand knowledge of who and what their father was especially before they grew up to know him.

Finally, I dedicate it to the younger and growing generations especially Nd’Ehugbo who, I wish should learn some lessons from my own life history so far.

From April 1964 when former Miss Felicia Obio got married to me until August, 2005 when she passed on, she provided an ideal home environment for me to carry on, day and night.

It is enviable, admirable and worthy of emulation.

God blessed you with intellect, will, good health of mind and body. Your memory is still intact, ready to be tapped by the younger generation. Your mentorship is imperative at this material time. You are our versatile sage we are very proud of. Your knowledge of Ehugbo history is encyclopaedic which makes a lot of persons consult you for one thing or another concerning Ehugbo. CONGRATULATORY MESSAGES

A man so beautiful in and out, I came to know about this wonderful man as my God grandfather and he has played his role so well, I celebrate him today because he deserves it, I remember one of his saying, " that he is the richest man on earth because of the relationships he has". He never equated his wealth to material things.

A simple man but full of Wisdom. A man who knows all the culture and traditions of Ehugbo and is ever ready to impact anyone who shows interest. A man who played his part as a father and husband so well with the little I witnessed.

I celebrate you today because not only you deserve it but we are blessed to have you in our lives. A role model to a lot of people. I am celebrating you as you climb onto the 9th floor, I will still celebrate you when you get to the 10th floor because for sure you will get there, I pray to keep celebrating you in good health and to at least grow old like you in good health as well. More years to you Horii, you are blessed.

TRIBUTE TO AN ACCOMPLISHER

On many occasions our parts have crossed and each reminds me of the relationship that existed between you and my late father. It still reminds you that true friendship is the best anyone can think of. Thanks for always giving me the room to always come close to you, I share in this happiness of yours.

A great orator of Ehugbo whom I haven't seen any that will fit into this shoe of yours, thanks for letting us understand that knowledge is indeed power. Ninety really looks good on you, all I ask God is to keep you till 100 years and I also tap into this longevity.

May his word in Psalms 91:16 continue to be your watch word father of all. Cheers to your new age Horii and happy Ninetieth birthday.
